Hyperactive Securex site

September 99 News & Events

The Securex website, the South African security industry's definitive electronic information link, is on line in its improved and upgraded format.

The site now provides comprehensive data on all TML Reed's Securex exhibitions - held in Gauteng, Durban and Cape Town - since 1997. Details and statistics about venues, visitors, exhibitors and the exhibitions themselves can be accessed in a user-friendly fashion.

An innovative feature of the new site is the on-line pre-registration facility for visitors. "Trade visitors who intend going to the shows need only fill in their details and send it electronically to us. We will then register them and post their tickets," says TML Reed Exhibition Manager Tom McCafferty.

In addition, all exhibiting companies that have their own sites are hyper-linked via their exhibitor names. A simple click on a selected name will open that company's site to the browser.

"The aim of the Securex site is to promote the show and its participants both locally and internationally but also to give new exhibitors and visitors easy access to crucial information about the events," says McCafferty.

Included on the site are floor plans, as are maps to the various venues and links to the professional associations that endorse the shows.

Interested decision makers are urged to make a point of visiting the Securex site on www.security.co.za.

Securex Cape '99 takes place at the Culemborg Exhibition Centre in Cape Town from 29 September to 1 October.

Complementary tickets or more information may be obtained from Jacqui Eggart at TML Reed's Johannesburg office on telephone (011) 886 3734, fax (011) 781 1270 or e-mail tommc@tmlreed.co.za
