As the name implies, the Starlight series camera is an ideal device for low light condition monitoring with its 0.005Lux/ F1.65 (colour) light- illumination. The camera features a 2-megapixel, 1/1.9-inch progressive scan CMOS image sensor for capturing full colour images, and supports up to maximum 50/60fps@1080p encoding. Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) features 120 dB and offers high performance in extremely bright, dark areas or in backlight.

Moreover, Dahua’s in-house Smart Scene Adaptive (SSA) feature supports automatic switchover between different scenes, enabling users to experience the cameras’ excellent low light performance. For the PTZ dome camera, the IR distance of DH-SD6AL230F-HNI is up to 500 metres and its IP67 provides a high-level of water- and dust-proof capabilities.

Starlight series cameras not only show excellent performance in difficult lighting conditions, but also feature a wide range of smart detection capabilities, such as tamper detection, smart video detection and intelligent analysis. Tamper detection can be subdivided into video mask detection, defocus detection and scene change detection. Smart video detection includes tripwire detection and intrusion detection. Its image analysis function provides an integrated and simple way to perform analysis on the images captured.

Furthermore, the cameras support people counting and heat mapping. Heat maps enable users to identify the hot spots and dead areas in the low light. The PTZ dome camera supports automatic tracking, which can be activated manually or by scheduling. Smart detection gives users the confidence to securely protect their property day and night.

Dahua Starlight cameras are compatible with multi-brand NVRs via ONVIF Profile S. Meanwhile, the Dahua super 4K NVR, NVR608-128-4K offers a maximum of 18-channel IP camera inputs and its incoming bandwidth is up to 384 Mbps. It also supports 12-megapixel resolution for preview and playback.

The Dahua Starlight series is a cost-effective, flexible and future-proof solution for poor or low-light conditions.
