The CP121 connects directly to the PSTN terminals of any intruder alarm control panel and converts the transmitted signals and events received from the onboard digital communicator to an encrypted IP signal. The converted IP signal is transmitted to an IP receiver in the monitoring and response centre. The IP receiver connects to monitoring software and the transmitted signal or event is converted to a logical monitored event. The inputs and outputs can be switched automatically or remotely from the monitoring and response centre to control appliances or machinery.
The CP121 can be used as a standalone IP control module that monitor inputs and outputs connected to appliances or machinery and these I/Os can be controlled remotely from the IP receiver or automatically when an input or output status change – meaning that inputs and outputs can be manipulated manually or switch automatically when an event occurs.
The flexible programming methods and debug software of the CP121 allow for quick and convenient programming directly by cable link between a PC and the CP121 module or remotely by the existing LAN/WAN.
