The new suite provides two-way radio users with increased performance, custom-tailored functionality and flexibility - prerequisites for a broad range of industry professionals who need immediate, rock-solid communications at the push of a button.

Categorised in a three-tier architecture - popular, versatile and sophisticated - each model has a common look and feel, is easy to use and serves a particular level of communication requirement. The suite spans basic functionality for the cost-conscious user; enhanced flexibility for growing organisations; or full-featured units offering the highest levels of user access and feedback for those organisations which demand maximum levels of flexibility and functionality.

According to Nik Patel, Business Manager at Motorola Commercial, Government & Industrial Solutions Sector: Middle East and Africa, the GM Series is based on Motorola's advanced core technology manufactured to international military specification standards.

The radios have been custom-tailored for different types of industry. This extends from the general purpose input output (GPIO) for flexible programming of I/O lines to cooperate with external devices to the flash memory option board to allow programming of customer-specific software. Noise-cancelling microphones for crystal clear transmission and other accessories such as mobile headsets, external speakers and voice storage needed for specific environments are just some of the enhancements on offer.
