Gallagher Security has been awarded the contract to provide an integrated security solution for Cambodia’s Phnom Penh International Airport.
Business development manager, Ian Meadows, confirms Gallagher has secured the multidoor project and will work with Channel Partners AES Group Ltd and Comin Khmere to install SmartCard readers and Sagem biometric readers in the 16 000 square metre facility. The Gallagher access control system will also be integrated to the Aimetis Symphony (www.aimetis.com) video management software.
Phnom Penh Airport’s international terminal currently has handling capacity for 2 million passengers, however, on-going extension of the boarding lounge will increase the space by 850 square meters.
Other major airports to incorporate Gallagher’s integrated security solution include Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport and Laredo Airport in South Texas.
